Several Neervely School students, who were internally displaced and lost either their mother or father are rececving Education Funds from NWAC. These Funds will help students to buy basic school supplies. Documents attached with this article show students’ name and the school they attend.

NWAC, recently, organized a life time monthly funding commitment to help Neervely South Nursery with its monthly expenses. As per the commitment members were asked to pick a month from Jan-Dec to contribute $100 in every month. So far 8 members have come forward and picked the following months: Jan, Feb, Mar, Apr, Aug, Oct, Nov and Dec.

May, June, July and September months are still available. If you would like to contribute to this life time funding commitment please call our President at 416-258-8289 or our Secretary at 416-999-8411. Please remember that this commitment is life time starting in 2010. So if u picked January then you will be contributing $100 every year in January.

NWAC has awarded 20 grade one students Rs.1000 as Entrance Scholarship. 10 awards were given to Students at C.C.T.M School and another 10 to J/Neervely South Hindu Tamil Mixed School.This amount was deposited in students’ bank account. The bank deposited another Rs.500 in each students account, making the total of the entrance scholarship Rs.1500.

Recently NWAC bought a computer for Neervely C.C.T.M School at an expense of Rs.72500. Neervely Welfare Association committee members and members would like to take this opportunity to wish the students of C.C Schools great success with their studies and a great computer education.

Neervely Welfare Association Canada recently donated Rs.23500 to J//Neervely R.C School for the school’s annual Price Giving Event. These funds were used to buy prices for students.
